Crisis Attestation
Counseling Bridge is an online platform that allows you to submit mental health concerns and receive an email with provider profiles that may be worth considering. Deciding whether to contact any provider is entirely your own. You can also navigate the platform and review provider information without submitting any information.
IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY:
- CALL 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Free, 24 hours a day) OR
- TEXT “HOME” TO 74141 (Crisis Text Line. Free, 24 hours a day) OR
- CALL 911 OR GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM (if you or someone else is in immediate danger).
These services are staffed by people trained to help right now.
COUNSELING BRIDGE IS NOT AN EMERGENCY OR CRISIS CARE SERVICE. THE PLATFORM DOES NOT ASSESS, SCORE, OR TRIAGE YOUR CONCERNS AND DOES NOT HAVE AN ALERT, OUTREACH, MONITORING, OR ESCALATION MECHANISM IN RESPONSE TO INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU. The platform does not screen for risk or provide any health care services. The platform is provided for information and awareness purposes only.
Receiving a response takes time. After you submit the form, your answers will be reviewed and you will receive an email with provider profiles. If you want to engage a provider, you then contact the provider yourself to schedule an appointment. It could be several business days before you receive the response though timelines may vary — and scheduling your first appointment takes longer still. This is not immediate care.
- I understand that Counseling Bridge is not emergency care, that it is not a provider of therapy or other health care services, that finding a provider through Counseling Bridge takes time, and that I should contact 988 or 911 if I need help urgently.
- I am at least the age of majority in the state where I live.
